The Makegood: What other events can the NY interactive advertising community expect to see coming from 212?
Next Tuesday, July 23rd we have an amazing Beauty Panel discussion at the New York Times building, featuring clients from Clarins, L’Oreal and Procter & Gamble – with moderation by Laura Bosman, New York Times editor. At Beach Party we’re going to be making a major announcement around an initiative we’ve put together that will take place during Advertising Week in September. More to come on that…but it will be VERY exciting news. We also have our 5th Annual Agency Quiz Bowl on October 24th…this event has become a staple with our agency membership. Lastly, building off of last January’s inaugural Winter Gala and its amazing turnout, response from guests, etc. we will begin working on plans for the January 2014 Winter Gala.
The Makegood: 212 is New York’s leading organization for the digital advertising industry. Where do you see the organization headed and what are you objectives?
Our goals as an organization remain consistent – to create a forum for our members to make meaningful connections, share collective insights and support the industry through education, programming and philanthropy. With the announcement of our new initiative at Beach Party we’ll grow our relationship with the digital community even more significantly. As always, 212 is a volunteer organization so we are only as strong as the engagement and passion of our membership allows including our committee members, volunteers, Board Members and attendees…everyone in the community plays an equally important role so we want to ensure everything we do aligns with our core strategy and how we differentiate ourselves from the other organizations. And of course, we thank all of our supporters for their immense and immeasurable contributions.
The Makegood: Thanks, Geoff.
